Résumé Cette étude qualitative a examiné l'acceptabilité et l'adéquation de ressources psychoéducatives affirmant la neurodiversité pour des enfants âgés de 7 à 11 ans ne disposant pas de diagnostics formels d'autisme ou de trouble du déficit de l'attention avec hyperactivité (TDAH). À l'aide d'une analyse thématique réflexive d'entretiens semi-structurés menés avec 24 familles et de retours écrits de sept parties prenantes, la recherche a exploré les perceptions de ressources réaffectées. Un thème général, « Favoriser un engagement individualisé », et six thèmes ont été élaborés : (1) Participation active, (2) Mobiliser les mots, (3) Résonance personnelle, (4) Communication, (5) Adapter pour favoriser le développement et (6) Stratégies face aux difficultés. Ceux-ci étaient déterminés par la conception engageante et co-produite des ressources, un langage axé sur les forces, une terminologie non clinique et leur capacité à favoriser une résonance personnelle. Les ressources ont permis aux enfants de développer un vocabulaire partagé pour exprimer leurs besoins et ont doté les familles de stratégies pratiques, ce qui a favorisé une identité positive. Cette étude conclut que des ressources non cliniques, axées sur les forces, peuvent combler les lacunes des services pour les enfants inscrits sur des listes d'attente pour un diagnostic ou présentant des traits neurodivergents suspectés, en offrant un modèle inclusif et évolutif pour soutenir le bien-être des enfants en privilégiant l'autonomisation plutôt que des approches fondées sur les déficits.
