CONTEXTE : Les adultes autistes continuent de connaître des taux élevés de chômage et de sous-emploi. OBJECTIF : Une revue de portée a été entreprise afin de : a) synthétiser les principales conclusions de la littérature concernant l'autisme et l'emploi du point de vue des employeurs ; b) examiner les tendances relatives aux attitudes des employeurs, aux cadres théoriques et aux interventions ; c) mettre en évidence les lacunes de la littérature ; et d) proposer des pistes pour de futures recherches. MÉTHODES : La littérature publiée entre le 1er janvier 2009 et le 1er janvier 2023 a été examinée à l'aide des bases de données suivantes : CINAHL via Ebsco, Cochrane Library, EMBASE via Ovid SP, ERIC via Ebsco, Medline, PsycINFO via Ebsco, Scopus, Web of Science et ProQuest pour les dissertations et thèses. RÉSULTATS : La recherche a identifié 55 études répondant aux critères d'inclusion. Les articles sélectionnés ont été organisés selon les thèmes suivants : cadres théoriques du point de vue des employeurs, soutiens à l'emploi des personnes autistes du point de vue des employeurs et interventions spécifiques aux employeurs. CONCLUSION : Cette revue de portée suggère que peu de recherches ont été menées sur des interventions auprès des employeurs ciblant spécifiquement les facteurs environnementaux du travail. La promotion de la diversité sur le lieu de travail constitue une tendance encourageante, mais elle n'a pas nécessairement inclus la promotion de la neurodiversité. Les recherches futures devraient inclure des interventions visant à améliorer les connaissances et les attitudes des employeurs actuels et potentiels, non seulement en matière d'embauche, mais aussi de soutien aux personnes autistes sur le lieu de travail.
