Résumé Objectif : Le diagnostic erroné ou tardif du trouble du spectre de l'autisme (TSA), en particulier chez les femmes sans déficience intellectuelle, a été en partie attribué au camouflage. Toutefois, en Espagne, il est nécessaire de disposer d'outils adaptés culturellement et tenant compte de la perspective de genre pour évaluer l'autisme. Par conséquent, l'objectif principal de cette étude était d'adapter le Questionnaire sur les traits autistiques de camouflage (CAT-Q) pour une utilisation dans la population espagnole. Méthode : Une méthode établie à l'échelle internationale pour les adaptations culturelles a été appliquée. La procédure consistait en un processus de traduction directe et de rétrotraduction, des entretiens cognitifs auprès de 7 participants âgés de 16 ans et plus, diagnostiqués avec un TSA et vivant en Espagne, ainsi qu'un examen par un expert linguistique. Résultats : Le processus de traduction a abouti à un outil adapté culturellement à la population espagnole. Les entretiens cognitifs n'ont révélé aucune difficulté sérieuse, avec seulement 3 items problématiques. Conclusion : Le CAT-Q espagnol est conceptuellement et sémantiquement équivalent à l'outil original et fournit une mesure du camouflage pour les adolescents et les adultes espagnols diagnostiqués avec un TSA.
