Résumé
Cet article explore de manière critique l’intersection de la neurodivergence, du handicap, de la décolonialité et de la religion vécue à travers la praxis de l’organisation d’une conférence d’une journée : BSA SocRel Chair’s Response Day on Religion, Neurodiversity, and Disability. Il soutient que le neuroqueering et l’inclusivité radicale offrent des possibilités transformatrices au-delà des cadres EDI symboliques, en particulier lorsqu’ils s’ancrent dans une organisation collaborative dirigée par la communauté. S’appuyant sur une réflexion ethnographique et sur la théologie militante, l’article met en lumière la persistance du validisme structurel au sein des institutions universitaires et religieuses, tout en révélant des espaces de résistance, de soin et d’imagination politique. Il appelle à des approches abolitionnistes qui placent l’expérience neurodivergente au centre, non comme un déficit mais comme une force générative, afin de remodeler à la fois la vie savante et spirituelle.
