Résumé
Des OUTILS VALIDES ET FIABLES ont récemment été développés afin de détecter avec précision les signes précoces du trouble du spectre de l'autisme (TSA) et d'autres difficultés développementales chez des enfants dès l'âge de 12 mois. La transposition des résultats de la recherche dans la pratique et les politiques au moyen de la mise en œuvre systématique d'outils fondés sur des données probantes dans la communauté, en particulier dans les établissements d'éducation et d'accueil de la petite enfance, est limitée. Cette étude établit que la fiabilité interévaluateurs (FIE) des éducateurs de la petite enfance lors de l'administration du Social Attention and Communication Surveillance System (SACS-R) est très élevée (k = 0,909). Cet article présente les résultats de la première étape du projet Right Kids, Right Time, Right Services — une étude prospective de cohorte qui vise à mettre en œuvre et à évaluer une surveillance développementale systématique des signes précoces de difficultés sociales et de communication chez de jeunes enfants dans des structures d'accueil de la petite enfance.
