Résumé
Nous affirmons que l'un des exemples utilisés par Keller & Miller (K&M), à savoir l'autisme, est effectivement fréquent et héréditaire, mais nous nous demandons s'il est nocif. Nous proposons une brève revue de la littérature en sciences cognitives dans laquelle les personnes autistes obtiennent de meilleurs résultats que les personnes non autistes dans des tâches de perception, de raisonnement et de compréhension ; toutefois, ces supériorités sont souvent occultées et sont plutôt décrites comme des dysfonctionnements.
