Résumé

L'histoire diagnostique de l'autisme, de la dyslexie et de l'hyperlexie est complexe. Parce que ces conditions partagent entre elles des caractéristiques à la fois convergentes et divergentes, il est important de comprendre ces relations, particulièrement dans le cadre de la recherche et de la manière dont sont interprétées les études qui s'étendent sur des décennies avec des critères changeants. Il est très important de synthétiser ce qui est connu jusqu'à présent sur la morphologie de ces conditions et de souligner ce qui reste encore inconnu. L'autisme et la dyslexie, par exemple, partagent des morphologies cérébrales antipodales, telles que la densité minicolumnaire, la largeur du neuropile, la taille des cellules, le volume du corps calleux, la complexité gyrale, la taille gyrale et le volume cérébral, tandis que l'hyperlexie n'a pas été étudiée de cette manière, bien qu'elle présente de nombreuses similitudes avec l'autisme.
