Résumé
Dans cet article, nous examinons la notion d’« amitié autistique ». En nous appuyant sur des articles publiés dans le magazine suédois de plaidoyer Empowerment, écrits pour et par des personnes autistes, une analyse thématique explore deux thèmes interdépendants : la signification et la mise en pratique de l’amitié dans les mondes non autistes (NT) et autistes (AS), ainsi que la signification de l’espace dans l’interaction sociale et la communauté. Les articles publiés dans le magazine abordent fréquemment les espaces réservés aux personnes autistes comme des lieux sûrs où se faire des amis parmi d’autres personnes autistes et aussi où, peut-être, apprendre à gérer les interactions sociales avec la culture non autiste (NT) dominante.
