Résumé
EDAC (Eating Disorders and Autism Collaborative) est un projet innovant visant à accroître la capacité de recherche en soutenant la collaboration dans les domaines des troubles des conduites alimentaires et de l'autisme. EDAC comprend quatre axes de travail intégrés afin de coproduire des recherches interdisciplinaires, dirigées par des personnes autistes ayant une expérience vécue des troubles des conduites alimentaires. L'axe de travail 1 décrira les meilleures pratiques collaboratives, afin d'éclairer le réseau de recherche. L'axe de travail 2 utilisera des méthodologies fondées sur les arts pour définir les priorités de recherche, en mettant l'accent sur les perspectives des groupes sous-représentés. L'axe de travail 3 soutiendra des collaborations interdisciplinaires afin de développer des recherches innovantes. Enfin, l'axe de travail 4 maximisera la mobilisation des connaissances dans le but de réduire les obstacles à l'intégration rapide de la recherche dans les politiques et la pratique clinique. Un objectif central d'EDAC est d'ancrer une culture d'affirmation de la neurodiversité au sein de la recherche sur les troubles des conduites alimentaires et de soutenir le développement d'une nouvelle génération de chercheurs menant des recherches innovantes et significatives susceptibles d'améliorer les résultats cliniques.
