Résumé
Cette recherche examine le regain d'intérêt pour l'autisme, la stigmatisation des personnes avec autisme et la nécessité de mieux mesurer cette stigmatisation. Deux études ont ainsi été menées auprès de 101 et 104 participants afin de valider la version française de l'échelle multidimensionnelle d'attitude envers les personnes en situation de handicap, et d'examiner les effets modérateurs de l'âge, du genre et du contact sur ces attitudes. Les analyses factorielles exploratoire et confirmatoire ont toutes deux produit une échelle à quatre dimensions, indiquant que les données observées s'ajustent au modèle théorique et que les sous-échelles présentent une cohérence interne acceptable. Les résultats concernant l'effet modérateur étaient moins nets. La discussion porte sur la mesure des attitudes envers les personnes avec autisme ainsi que sur le rôle du contact social.
