Abstract

1. Which safe or unsafe experiences have been studied to date in Autistic people? 2. What evidence is there from systematic and meta-analytic reviews regarding what we know to date about (a) Autistic people's experiences of different aspects of safety (self-report and/or proxy report); (b) how often and in which ways Autistic people feel safe or unsafe? 3. What personal, interpersonal and social/ environmental factors enable, threaten, or are barriers to, Autistic people's safety? 4. What do we know about safety in different groups and communities of Autistic people (e.g., First Nations People; LGBTQIA+, gender diverse; from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, with high support needs) and across different contexts (home, school, work, services, community)?
