Abstract
Differences between autistic people and neurotypical people can lead to misunderstandings between patients and healthcare professionals that jeopardise care provision. Understanding the possible impact of communication, sensory and pain differences can enable you to ensure clear communication and effective care for neurodivergent women in your care. In this third article of the series, Joanna tackles the difficult topic of the intersect between breastfeeding, sexual abuse and autism.
