Abstract
Asperger's syndrome is an aspect of autism and, although not a mental health condition in itself, is often linked to mental health as those on the autism spectrum, including those with Asperger's, often experience mental health issues and are likely to be at increased risk of developing such health issues. This article seeks to explain what autism and Asperger's syndrome are and explore its links to a variety of mental health issues, along with forms of nursing management.
