Abstract

This investigation aims to provide a systematic review of the available literature on camouflaging in individuals with autism/high levels of autistic traits. The following questions will be addressed: 1. What are the characteristics of participants in research on camouflaging in individuals with autism or high levels of autistic traits? 2. What is the quality of evidence available on the language profile of individuals with autism or high levels of autistic traits? 3. What is our understanding of the relationship between camouflaging and language level/profile?
