Abstract

Abstract We are proposing a new subfield of engineering, called Inclusion Engineering, that is defined as the use of engineering tools, design, research, and thinking to create environments through which individuals whose abilities and contributions would previously have been marginalized by society can become productive members within society, and at the same time, organizations and society as a whole are made better through more full engagement of the broad spectrum of human abilities.
