Abstract
AST Open Replication Archive: Closed-System Cognition Battery This archive supports open replication of case study findings produced within the Autistic Standpoint Theory (AST) framework. AST is an empirically grounded sociological and neurobiological framework that identifies closed-system cognition as a measurable constrained attractor state, documents it across dyadic, community, institutional, and AI scales, and connects it to the colonial linguistic architecture of English-dominant epistemic environments. The AST Closed-System Cognition Battery measures five behavioral proxies (Ambiguity Tolerance, Context Integration, Cognitive Updating Rate, Threat Salience Bias, and Linguistic Network Density) on a 0–4 scale per proxy, with a composite maximum of 20. Scores are assigned by behavioral observation of complete text records. No attribute is inferred beyond what the record explicitly shows. This archive holds anonymized behavioral records, standardized replication prompts, submitted replication reports, and raw AI outputs from independent scoring sessions. The replication protocol uses large language models as independent pattern-matching instruments. Convergence across independent AI systems with no shared training pipeline is the primary validity signal. This research is autoethnographic and has not undergone traditional external peer review. The open replication protocol is the methodological response to that condition: transparent, accessible, and reproducible without institutional access or credentialed gatekeeping.
