Abstract

This personal reflection of coming to know and understand oneself retrospectively following an autism diagnosis highlights the pivotal importance of being able to be your authentic self for your mental health and well-being. Being accepted for who you are is a prerequisite of a good workplace. Reflection and acknowledgment of your strengths and challenges can help you optimise your work productivity and engagement.
