"Autistic Autism Scholarship Project" (AASP): a new name and updated project addresses
AutiHub’s project documenting autistic people’s contributions to autism research is now called the Autistic Autism Scholarship Project (AASP).
The new name clarifies the project’s scope: it documents academic work on autism authored or co-authored by autistic people, rather than their publications across all fields. The aim remains to document autistic people’s contributions to knowledge about autism.
The project can now also include publications that explicitly state that one or more authors or co-authors are autistic, without specifying which individuals this refers to. These contributions can therefore be documented without attempting to identify the people concerned.
The project’s web addresses have been updated to match the new name. Its main address is now:
The old addresses remain valid and automatically redirect to the new ones. Previously shared links and bookmarks will therefore continue to work.
