About the autistic author marker

The Autistic Scholars Project documents scientific publications in which at least one autistic person is an author or co-author.

In publication lists, an asterisk next to a name indicates that the person is recorded in the Autistic Scholars Project as an autistic author or co-author. This marker may also appear in cited bibliographies when a cited author is already recorded in the project.

This marker is used only when the person has either publicly stated that they are autistic, in writing or orally, or has given private permission to the site maintainers.

Anyone whose name appears on AutiHub can request that this marker be added, corrected, or removed via the contact page.
